£ 60.000 For A Blank Painting. When looking at this painting at first blush, you may be thinking that this work is action kicks the painter, because what is see no more than a plain white paper with a black line that surrounds it plus the creation date in the bottom corner.

But who would have thought that the work of artist Bob Law will be auctioned off at a price of £ 60,000.00. The works that he called Nothing to be Afraid of V 22.8.69, will be on sale at auction of Bonhams Contemporary Art's , in October 13, 2011.




Bob Law described as one of the founding fathers of the minimalist paintings in United Kingdom and died in April 2004 at the age of 70 years.

He was born in 1934 in a playing career, Middlesex, and decided not to be pursued a career as an architect, then in 1957 he moved to St Ives, Cornwall, and that's where he learned to paint.
